2.4 20v injectors

Hello everyone, I'm going to get my injectors checked (I have a 2006 Brera 2.4 200hp) because the correction that FES shows is insame. Car has 75 000Km and some injectors show over 2,00 correction.

If they can't be fixed, is it worth considering getting uprated injectors, for future tuning?

if you don't plan any huge turbo, stock are probably fine. Otherwise ducati corse injectors might be the way.

My question came about because if I have to put new ones (if there is no reparation for the old ones), I might upgrade them right now instead of putting oem ones and then need to upgrade later.

How much more can the ducati ones inject? Are these the same as the ones in the GT 1.9 170?

Thanks

John, Ducati corse injectors are only for 16V and 20V engines.

And stock 16/20V injectors are good enough for 300BHP in a 5 cylinder.

Yes I know that. I was just curious about it though

How much better are the ducati ones compared to the 2.4 20v 200cv normal ones? Anyone knows how to identify both of them?

I'm having trouble getting more than 88mm3 injection. When car gets to arround 88mm3 it cuts throttle very sharply. In the logs I can see that IQ is like 88,82,84,88,82,84,88,82. and so on... I don't think I have missed any limiter and I can't explain this. I hope that nothing is wrong with the car

I will send my ecu file by mail or other way to anyone who wants to try and help, I don't know how to attach it here.

Thank you very much for any help on this, I'm so worried

Thank you for your replies, attached I'm sending a screen of my torque limiter and log I did, 3rd and 4th gear pulls.

On the log you can see this happening on 23,51s to 24,53s. Boost at that rpm is arround 1,52.

So more boost?

Edit:
I'm not sure thought, because power is cut and turbo goes down, the airmass reading must decrease. So we might be seing lower readings because the fuel was cut instead of seing the fuel cut because of low ammount of air.

Is the AFR map causing this? If for example I lowered AFR, it would smoke but not cause this jerkiness in accelerating?

I increased the boost slightly (max 0,1 bar) from 2500rpm to 3500rpm and it seems much better, injection holds on 88m3. But I think I still did feel some hesitation, but it didn't show on today's log.

I'm worried about the turbo though, it's now doing a max 1,7 bar relative. You have told me that It can handle more, but I'm curious how to find out how much stress it's under. Should i log the vnt, is this a good method?

Thanks.

Yep, consult the compressor map and log the VNT and IAT.

Attached is my last log, I can't attach my ecu file because of the file size, but I will send by email to anyone who wants to see it.

I'm having trouble with the boost stability, from 2800rpm to arround 3100, boost drops, then it raises and I get overboost at 3250rpm. I get an IQ cut at 2980rpm and again at 3189 rpm. Can anyone help me understand what is going on? My vnt maps are stock, but still I don't understand why I get this underboost at arround 2800 rpm. And why does IQ go from 87 to 86 and then 87 again at 2980 rpm? Boost does not improve at 3047 rpm, but IQ raises. Again at 3189 I don't see why IQ goes from 87 to 81.

I'm really having trouble figuring this out, anyone can provide with some help?
Thanks!
