Brera 2.4

Brera remap / dpf removal booked ...advice..

I've got my 2008 2.4 210 jtdm booked in for the above at JJB Motors, York.

Just a quick question. I'm assuming I get a choice about how much power, etc, to apply. Obviously, I will take advice from the boys in York, but what's the limit in terms of HP, etc, before the negative effects start to outweigh the gains?

I want the maximum power I can get, but still get the improved mpg associatd with the DPF removal. At what point does the increase in power have a detrimental effect on the mpg and / engine mechanics, etc?

Looking forward to getting it done!!

Many thanks

Check the threads where people have had this done. Within a few months there's a clutch / dmf woes thread.

Spend money on upgrading the brakes & clutch etc, then get the remap work done.

Had mine done almost two years & 30k miles ago by Gus from Alfatune without any problems. Yours will be the same remap as JJB are licensees.

Enjoy it!
