DS2500 bit cheap?

Does this seem over cheap for DS2500 pads

Performance Braking Alfa 156

Or is is the best price ever?

Decent price but I prefer DS Performance.

Had been struggling to find them for less than 140

Why Ds performance? Better for road use or just better full stop?

Less dust but similar stopping power from what I've heard.

I prefer them for road use, yes. I had DS2500s with solid discs on my 1.8 Twinny and DS Performance with vented discs on my 2.0 Ti.

Alternatively, you could buy a Brembo Gran Turismo kit like I've just done. :smug:

Thought I remembered read that you had tried both types.

The DS2500s are great when pushing on but a bit 'wooden' when pottering about.

I bought the Brembo kit off eBay after someone posted a thread asking if it would fit his GT. I got it for a good price considering its condition.

We're the standard brakes on yours not up to much or did you just fancy the look of the kit?

I bought some off a gta for mine last year, with the uprights n everything but then the boiler went t1ts up before they had even arrived, so they went back as we apparently needed hot water more!

The brakes aren't the greatest (same as 156 brakes) and I just fancied the kit.
