parts are made of high quality fibreglass.. not sure now. didnt think fibreglass was that good and prone to cracking?

are the original alfa items also fibreglass?

No they are a moulded plastic. Most manufactures use injection moulding as they mass produce it.

It's more resistant to cracking plus some are thermo forming so can be put right with heat if they get bumped before repainting. Most are thermo setting though.
