Jtd and v6 gearbox

We all know that q2 fits them both. I would like to know if 1.9 jtd gearbox fits to v6 engine? Bolt pattern and stuff if anybody knows?

No the bell housing is different, you can take the jtd internals out and fit them in a v6 casing if you really wanted too

I want to do that, the only problem I can see is the rear manifold comes down where the transfer box sits, you would have to bring the rear manifold and exhaust round and over the top of the gearbox, while you are doing that you may as will put the battery in the boot and fit a turbo

Battery in the boot is on to do list. Turbo i dont like. Alfa v6 must be NA screamer
I know exhaust is the biggest problem, but all can be done...

I think with 4wd transmission losses and added weight you will need more torque, either 3.8 conversion or turbo 3 litre.

Weight would stay the same with my light weight project. I think that tweaked 3.0 motor with almost 300hp should do
