Boring 2.2 JTS (Brera) tuning - results?

Hey guys,
In a pickle as really want to get a 2008 Brera 'S' but, after test driving one against a 2.4d version, the performance seemed really lack lustre. Have any members got a 2.2 Brera that has been tuned/mapped/etc and can I have some feedback and if possible dyno/rolling road figures if poss on the results? Interested in performance/cost and effect on fuel economy.
I'm based in Wrexham.
Much appreciated.
Stu.

Given your location, speak to Gus at Alfatune in St Helens

A decent map & free flow in box filter is what you want.

Don't bother with cone inductions. The sound great but you lose guts

Garage
Yep comanderfish is the guy to talk to for tuning. As SR said mango's are a waste of time. You'd be better off with the diesel if you want lots more power

the mangoletsi mods were/are a farce. the diesel tuning boxes were ok(ish), but the whole induction kit thing was nonsense. lots of growly noise but they used cheap, substandard parts and an air filter only rated to something like 120bhp which rusted through in no time

i believe they had to do a lot of recitifcation work for customers

gus at alfatune is your man

I have had my Brera S re-mapped and am very pleased with it. Much smother and a bit more mpg. The best mod for the 2.2 is Tesco 99 momentum fuel.
Search my post's for the remap detail.
