156 sport wagon too quiet and too soft

Hi guys got rid of my TVR Cerbera at family insistence ( too noisy Daddy!) and just got a 56 plate 2.5l sport wagon with just 27k on it.
It's a lovely thing but after the TVR it's just far too quiet and soft.
Was thinking about a ragazzon back box ( do these mate with the rest of the standard exhaust?)
And revised suspension: stiffened anti roll bars and stiffer/ lower shockers and springs.
Has anyone done this? Good results?
All ideas and opinions welcome.

They can sound awesome with a good exhaust on them.

This is one of my favourite sounding 2.5 V6s:

And Dan (Pud237) and his buddy make the best sounding exhausts for the V6. I have one on my GTA and it is fantastic. Eibach ARBs, springs and Koni FSDs or coilovers are the favoured suspension options, but do some searching here. I have a 156 GTA and that setup is very popular (and a big improvement), I'm sure there are specific versions for the non-GTA 156s.

Cheers,

Nigel

Yes, but Alfa UK didn't import many.

I've seen an auto pre-facelift with the facelift interior on a 56 plate, a red one.
