Thumbs Up Alfa gt 1.9 jtd remap R3500.00/292 pounds

Just had my alfa remap this moring. Must say is inpress with the power difference. Standard on the dyne it was 110.8 KW/148.5 HP and 356 NM torgue. Just as the factory specs indicated. After it was remap it is 128 KW/171 HP and 405 NM torg. They offer to take it up a bit more but i was concern it may start to smoke. Currently no smoke and it realy moves. Looks like the fuel consumption improve but will be sure when i leave for Cape Town next week. It was done by STO South Africa. Good work...:

Alfa gt 1.9 Jdt

Back in pretoria and here the figures. My first trip was to the kalahari. On my previous trip my average fuel consumption was 14.8 km/l for the 1100km trip. The car was fully loaded, that is a family of four with luggage. After the remap now my average fuel consumption was 16.9 km/l. That was quite and inprovement, trust me did not drive to save fuel. From Upington to the kalahari about 230km, i set my cruise control to 150 km/h and did the same from olifantshoek to Upington. I then went to the cape. On my return that is from Cape to PTA, i mannage to drive with one tank of diesel from Cape Town to Bloemfontein where i full up again. On my arrival at home the comuter indicated that the average consumption for the 1390 km was 18 km/l. I think that is very good. My freind in Cape challenge me first with his opel 1.8 16v 2005 which was no mach for the alfa. He then tried his e90 325i ci and still could not out perform the alfa. On the speedo of the alfa the diesel easy mannage up 230. Have the picture as proov.
