Forged rods & low compression pistons

Does anyone have a source for a set of forged conrods & low compression pistons for a 3.0 24v or GTA engine? Something like 8:1 or 8.5:1 would be fine. I know it can be achieved by using a 2.5 crank and ending up with a 2.8 engine but I'd prefer to use stronger internals.

Wouldn't eagle and the likes be able to make them up for ya? Or even Cosworth?

I know they can be made to specification, but finding a set on the shelf somewhere would be nice. Cheers for the suggestions though.

Lots of people building engines in Croatia/Slovenia/Italy use them.

No, but see some examples of his use:

Gtv 3.0 V6 TB GT3071R. Avviamento a freddo - Cold start - YouTube

pistoni CPS - vimotor sport bmw 320 I GRUPPO E1 - Reventino.avi - YouTube

The first video is better

According to some records they do a very good job in this area.

What about the guy who with the stratos which had a turbo Gta engine had pics and specs in that thread, is it for an autolusso project? If things work out I'll be interested in the later half of next year.

I've got a customer with a turbo'd 3.2 in a stratos replica, but I haven't got his contact details otherwise I'd have rang him to see what he used and what he thought of it. I've got a bit of a project in mind but nothing is set on stone yet.

I guess you're talking about this guy Turbo 3.2 GTA Engine In a Stratos Replica - Alfa Romeo Bulletin Board & Forums. I read through that thread a while back, very impressive build. If I remember correctly all interesting specs are in the thread.
