2.4 JTDm 200hp Desired boost/Real boost

Hello everyone, i'm having some trouble figuring a problem in my 2.4 Brera. The car is being remaped and on my fiatecuscan logs, the real boost and desired boost never go over 2.5 bar (1 bar from atmosphere + 1.5 from the turbo).

The map on the ECU requests 2.7 bar, but in the fiatecuscan the desired boost never gets past 2.5. Is this a sensor limitation?

Tks!

It's single value boost value display limitation - good tuner should know

Tks for the reply, but i'm not sure i fully understood

Do you mean this is a display limitation, but the actual boost is higher? Or is the boost limited by the ECU. My tuner told me there was a max boost limiter but that he changed it to allow 2.8 (0.1 over what is requested), but i still only get 2.5.

yes, beside of the real boost limiter (which has been raised by your tuner to 2.8bar), there is another limiter that just limits the displayed value of the boost (=actual boost is higher then displayed).

You wouldn't know where I can find that value on winols? I really wanted to have realistic values to make sure there is no boost creep.

I think you are wrong yan.ko 2500 is not "display" limitation... it is just an limiter that restricts desired boost from boost maps. It is located right after the desired boost map. But there is one little detail there...

I would. I spent great times finding such single value limiters. Don't pass it

I think the airflow showed the actual boost was higher then the limiter, but it's rather long time ago I played with it. I would refresh my mind looking on the Laster case.

Well I never had any issues with "displayed" boost on EDC16, and that is from some 30 different cars. But there is a known limiter for desired boost set at 2500mbar in all alfa EDC16.

I've been reading that on EDC15 there are two SVBL, is this the same on EDC16?

I thank you all for your help on this, please notice that i'm only working on my car, I'm just trying to get the best out of it, learn and have fun doing it.
