With Sachs and Luk there is a big chance you'll get a Valeo

I have that reinforced organic fast road CG Motorsport clutch (which is based on Valeo kit ) and it's superb. Easily holds even torque of ~475Nm.

Can't really coment. I think Sachs would be better but the difference is so small. Never had a problem with any CG clutch I've fitted so I'd say the CG is the best choice on performance and value for money

What you want is "fast road clutch"... it has reinforced springs so it can hold more torque (some say 25% more). Otherwise it is a standard Valeo part. You can combine it with a kevlar friction plate, but I think that is not necessary unless you are a doing some track time or red-light-drag-racing...

I use it now for two and a half years with around 400Nm on a 1.9 JTD 16V and it is still in good shape after 80.000km. I recommend it to everyone who has a remapped car.

Hello.

I got a big problem.
I get a shaky idle and some noise when u start, stop and in idle rev the engine.
So i think its the DMF because u hear the noise from his housing.
I got an Fiat Stilo 1,9 Jtd 8V 115cv mod to about 140cv with power box.
I got 134000 km and start to mod it with 90000 kilometers
I search an upgrade clutch and Dual mass Flywheel.
Sachs told me that the aftermarket one is weak like the original, about 300nm! Clutch the same :-(
CG is a option but i life in Germany! (u see on my english) O:-)
ive read something about an OE part from fiat or Alfa that fit in my stilo and is more strong.
I hope somebody can help me!
Which part and which clutch and how many torque it can handle. Need about 300 to 450 nm
PLEASE Help me!

GREETINGS Lucas

I was considering this one as well, but imho will not differs a much to the Fast road CG motorsport one (in performance), but is more expensive.

If the pictures on the site are accurate, then it differs a lot from the CG motorsport version, as the Sachs has 6 springs, different pressure plate, etc.

since the same picture is shown for the GTA and the JTD, which doesn't vene have a dampened friction plate, I'd say the picture isn't accurate at all...

yes, but fast road only handles 25%more then std . with gtb2260 or gtb2265 I will be giong far past that, so am I going to need cerametalic?
How much can that take??

Personally I probably wouldn't choose the cerametallic clutch for daily/family car (might become noisy and uncomfortable). I would just look for stronger bearing/pushplate and premium organic (or kevlar if really, really needed) pads clutch.

No doubts in case of competition car - cerametallic clutch and sintered iron flywheel.

The ceramic clutch is not so bad on a daily basis, in my 156 3.0 that I use for weekend trips to the track and the wife uses it weekly, I have a set of double helix and the shield clamp for 4 ceramic plates so sharp / sudden work and as my wife can do the trick this car to work every day and go shopping all the more every guy can handle it;]

Best regards, Greg

How about the flywheel. Do you have reinforced one? Have heard the cerametallic pads can eat the stock flywheel friction plate easily.

Yes it's true, the cerametalic pads destroy faster flywheel than organic pads, but for 156 V6 production before 2001 that is not a problem, the flywheel is still normal steel flywheel ;]

Still got the std flywheel, there is no replacement for that.
Unless there is a gm replacement?
