injector upgrade 1.3multijet


hi

starting a new tread on this. the first part is in the "jtd injector upgrade 2.4" page 12-13

its not an alfa but it is the same as the mito 1.3multijet
Its about upgradeing the nozzles in the injectors stage 3-4 upgraded clutch,turbo,boost,intercooler... that kind of upgrade.
so i got some upgrade nozzles that the company said would work and they use them..
it was bosio 520 race injectors.. for vw and some say it will work..'
i even got my diesel guy to test one with the injector nozzle in.. and it did spray.. but that was in a test bench..

well i have gotten an answer from a "Pete Baranko" who ever that is.. not sure

i have a question for you..
a company sold me a bosio race 520 nozzle for my 0445110183 bosch injectors.. on a fiat 1,3multijet engine.. running 1350bars of pressure..

they fit but what about symmetric spray pattern and the fact that normaly the they run alot lower pressure.. im aming for 170hp..


IT’s the wrong nozzle and the hole geometry will not work on a Common Rail injector.

Also the flow data coded into the engine ECU will cause multiple issues with the control of the injector. This data is an ***** Numeric 5-6 digit code embossed on the injector near the part number.

well some say its posible.. and clame they have done this.. i have seen turbo upgraded 1,3 making 140hp and 286nm..

and rumors go that the panda 4x4 cross darkar did have the 160-170hp..

power? hmm 110hp and 225nm would be my guess right now.. it dosent give the 100hp a chance..
well lets see modifications to the car right now is:
-bigger turbo with Variable geometri
-larger front mounted intercooler
-new pips for intake/intercooler
-HDI SBC SE electronic boost controler
-Kevlar reinforced clutch
-egt gauge
-boost gauge
-no cat
-only 1 silencer (dosent make a difference)
-wizards of nos nitrous kit
-rail pressure box
-larger downpipe

up comming mods..
-modified injectors
-a real remap
-even more powerfull clutch
-maby 2,5" exhaust

would like higher gearing also but lets se it blow up first

TRW performance offer i believe 170 kit for the 1.3 mjet engines... stage 2 was in 2009 and that was + 140hp / 276nm . go to the homepage, and click the video .

its the turbo from the 140hp trw performance kit! ;-) but it should be able to do 170hp maby more. only the problem they does not seem to know how to fuel it? they send me 4 vw race nozzles.. maby it would work but there support dont give me the needed info..

Im now driving around with larger injectors! its a standard 90hp injector bosch 183 with hundai 140hp 2.0 nozzels.

a remap is needed but it pulls loads better from low down!

1.3 multijet bhp

Hi, I know this is an old thread, but did you ever achive the 140 plus bhp ?? Only I'm about to start with a 1.3 multi jet diesel and was hoping for the same and any advise would be welcome. Thanks Greg. I live in the north east of the uk
