GTA antiroll bars on a Twinspark/JTD

So who has them then? I had them on my old 147 2.0 and they were absolutely fantastic!

I have... in combination with Koni FSD and Eibach springs. Perfect every-day combination IMO.

But from time to time I ask myself why didnt I bought the Eibach ARB kit

147 GTA

I also have them with the Koni FSD/Eibach Pro combo & some Polybushing.
Gave them all a good test at the Nurburgring last weekend.

I have a rear GTA arb on my 2.4... much more neutral handling now, I'm hesitant to fitting the front arb aswell as it will induce more understeer again

I have Eibach Pro springs + Koni FSD + Eibach ARB (actually rear only) on my 156SW. Ultimate combination. Although I would prefer the rear springs 1cm higher on SW, as it's too bumpy imho.

I have the same dilemma as you Cuore Sportivo 155. Maybe I'll put GTA one to the front only.

147/156/GT ARB:

Eibach - 26mm front, 18mm rear
Ultraracing - 19mm rear only
1.9 JTD - 22mm front, 14mm rear

GTA 23mm/16mm

Also some 147 1.6 TS 105PS uses 23mm front ARB, but 14mm rear. I guess to induce more understeer...

I got GTA antiroll bars front and rear, plus Eibachs and FSDs as well.

On the JTD 16V they are the same as the 2.0 TS, ie thicker than the 1.6/JTD 8v but thinner than the GTA ones.

Have you got rid of your 156s Pud ?

16v is going to be for sale, the standard 10v is crashed, the other 10v needs a sump, big aux belt tensioner, upper & lower arms etc all of which I'll get from the crashed one. Might fit my GTA arbs to the other one while I have it all apart, they've been in my shed for ages now. I'll fit the Unicorse to the 10v then as well - sacrilidge!

Autolusso also has a set of GTA arbs in stock for sale if anyone is interested.

How much more expensive are the GTA ARB's compared to the standard T-spark ones?

That's what we done to my mates 156 v6, just fitted a rear whiteline ARB with his coilovers, it gave it a very neutral feel according to him and again didn't think it was necessary to upgrade the front.

I did..

GTA driveshafts do fit at the gearbox end but they are the wrong length because the length of the V6 engine is different in length to the JTD 16v engine, and so the position of the diff relative to the two hubs is different, one driveshaft will be slightly too long and the other too short. The only engine you can fit GTA hubs to and use the driveshafts as well instead of changing the bearings & hub faces is the 2.5 V6, as the diff is in the same place and so driveshaft length is also the same. Thats what we did on our V6 track slag.

Yeah I know... I didn't mean to

You should put the GTA bar on the rear as well, will make it understeer less

What's the price ratio of GTA ARB and TS ones? Are the GTA ones double the price or more? I have just fitted sport pack suspension, little more crashy and not so much less roll then standard.

My main question is: Is the car more crashy on bad roads with stiffer ARB?

New GTA anti roll bars are about 50% more expensive than Twinspark ones.

I have another set of used GTA antiroll bars in stock, email me if you are interested
