GT 2.0 Remap Essex

Hi All,

I recently purchased a 2007 GT Blackline 2.0ltr, it is without doubt the most stunning car I have ever owned and she drives beautifully. Just getting behind the wheel is enough to make me grin like I should be fitted for a white jacket that makes me hug myself.
That said she feels a little underpowered. I have been reading on this site that this common with this engine type. To that end I am looking to replace the exhaust, air intake and get her remapped.

I am a total novice at these things having never had a car that I was that interested in altering. (My last car was a 1996 Frontera/ tank.) So I would need the work done for me and would prefer someone with experience working with Alfas. I have looked at a few places in and around Essex and they are happy to do the work with exception of the remap. (From what I gather it is a bit of a pig to do on these engines?)

So can somebody on here recommend somewhere in this area that will do the fitting and remap as it is driving me crazy.

Thanks in advance.
Arris.

If you want someone closer to do the work for you - then we would be more than happy to do so at ProAlfa in Hertfordshire. We even have a rolling road next door so you can see the effects of the remap. Proalfa - Alfa Romeo Specialist - Watford, Herts, WD18 9QP

Thanks for that, oddly Sunnyside is one of the ones I didn't contact.

I'm over in Holland for three months (without my car,) and the crazy Dutch computer system won't let me open their web page.

Sunnyside use Gus's remaps I know I've got one They send the file containing the map to Gus and then write the returned map.

No it doesn't sound quite right. Shame.

I have crawled home from the Harrow on one or two occasions. Five minute walk there and half hour stagger back.
