Remove O2 sensor 1.9 jtdm 8 v

Hi!

Can i remove the pre-cat O2 sensor to fit in EGR blanking plate 8v manifold? In my car the lambda cable is to small to fit in a new downpipe position. If it's not posible, Can I enlarge lambda cable? How?

Photos of OEM pre-cat with lambda sensor and new position of downpipe:

Not a good idea... unless you get your car reprogrammed to disable the sensor. But there is not many people who can do this.

I'm going to enlarge pre-connector electrical installation to move the o2 sensor near the downpipe Thanks.
