Hmmm Galletto 1260 and EDC16 C8 CF3 - what is wrong.

I want to a connect and read maps from ECU in my car and save to file using the Galletto 1260 interface and I have a problem with it

I connected the Galletto interface to the EOBD2 interface in car. In the program Galletto 1260 I choosed from list "Alfa 147 1.9 JTD 16V EDC16 C8 CF3" and I pressed "ECU Data". The green progress bar in the program started and finished read about 5 sec. In the window "ECU data" of the program wrote the correct data about hardware, software data and date of programmed the ECU. The Galletto program waited long time and finaly get the message "DRIVER NO EDC16C8 - CHANGE DRIVER. ERRORE END". I'm sure that it 's EDC16 C8 CF3 !

Before started the green progress bar the program displays a message "ATTENTION IF YOU MUST NOT COMMUNICATE CONNECT PIN 7 Kline OF THE EOBD TO PLUG K PIN 25 Kline ECU ENGINE". But pin 7 must be connected to the ECU because this line use The FiatEcuScan and it working correctly. I think so the FiatEcuScan use this K-line. I'm not 100 % sure because I don't have the wiring diagram.

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong

P.S. Excuse me all for my imperfect English

You have one of the ECUs that cant be read with Galletto clone. If I'm not mistaken your bosch hardware number of the ECU is 0281010455... Right? And software number is either 367333 or 367925.
You need different flasher to read it. It can be written with Galletto clone, but I would not recommend doing that before reading original file from the ECU.

If you just want to read it, then I can give you an original file that I read from another car with same HW and SW version.

I've ordered BDM100 hardware to read directly from the ecu board.

But, BDM read directly from ECU board. I would have to disassemble the ECU
I found tool EDC16 Flasher. It's working with all EDC16 MPC5xxx via EOBD2.
Made in China like Galletto

Are you sure that "EDC16 flasher" works with Alfa's EDC16? AFAIK it only works with cars that can be programmed through CAN, and Alfa's are done over k-line. But I could be wrong, I never used it...

IMHO MPPS is the way to go at the moment for personal use, but it has some checksum related problems with EDC16C39, EDC16C8 works without any problem though...

You are all buying ilegal cheap chinese Clones of very expensive tools and you are expecting them to work ?
And who told you that they are simple to make the real thing in the first place?

MPPS works fine with that ECU, but read is very slow - 10-12minutes.

However clone galletto can write file just fine, but make sure you have a backup
