Well Happy Brake Upgrade Q's...again ☺

I have a 01 TS.

i'm getting it worked on in a couple of weeks and iv'e been offered a sweet deal on some Ferodo DS2500 & braided line for the front only. ($380 nz about 125)
Discs are stock 284mm at about 70%.

Would it be fine to upgrade the front only with the new brake lines & Ds2500 ? and leave the back standard?

It Is a really really good deal, i enquired about Ferodo PF but the DS2500 were overstocked so are getting for under 1/2 price.... but should i be worried about squeeks? are the ds hard on pads?

Well I have never used them but have only heard good things about them, I'm sure someone will come along shortly and clarify everything

DS2500 will transform the braking but can be a bit squeaky, I used 3M backing pads on the back of the pads and this has stopped the squeaking
