Fitting a 2.0 v6 turbo from a 164 to a 155

Hello there, i was hoping somebody could provide me with an answer, i have a v6 2.0 turbo from a 164 and was wondering whether it would fit in a 155? Theyre both FWD, what about the engine mounts, and the available space itself, anybody done something similar before? Thanks alot

I haven't seen any 155 with V6 2.0 TB engine but it shouldn't be a very complicated swap. Use 155 2.5 V6 engine mounts, gearbox, driveshafts, gear linkage, etc. You need to do some work with inlet pipes, engine loom, exhaust and some other stuff. V6 2.0 TB engine was fitted in Fiat Brava (the same floorpan as Alfa 155) before so you shoudn't have problems with the space.

Hey, thats great, if it was fitted in a Brava it must fit in an 155 (just like you said, more or less the same car when looking under the hood). Do you have a link maybe, I mean, to that Brava, it's build or something? And thanks for the info of course

The GTV got the 2.0 V6 turbo, and at the front there isn't much difference between a GTV and a 155..
