is Gazzella Racing a good place where to buy parts for Alfa?

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of buying some great styling parts for my 156 from Gazzella Racing and I wanted to ask is this (http://www.gazzella.cc) a good and especially CONFIDENT webshop? So did all the bought parts come to your home?

Have you bought yourself some parts before from there?

thanks in advance...

Some people here have had to wait a long time for there parts to be delivered,I have bought parts from them but i always ring or e-mail them first to ask if they have the parts in stock and how long is the delivery time,on both times that i bought parts from them they delivered on time but some people here havn,t been so lucky.

As stated above, I have had a long wait both times I have order from them. Shame really as the stuff they stock & prices are spot on.

I would order from them again but would ring to make sure stock is available.

Re: is Gazzella Racing a good place where to buy parts for Alfa?

a fellow Oz alfista recently bought a backbox from them. after emailing, and being told they have one to ship, he paid for costly express freight (to Australia, remember). well, it didn't turn up within the promised days; instead, they didn't actually have it in stock. so they had to order. after waiting around 6 weeks (still paid for express freight), it arrived, with a big @rse dint in it! needless to say, he is not happy, and has taken it up with them for a replacement.

so i've heard mixed reports. personally, i wouldn't risk it. i have found much better places. though you may be wanting something that only they can source - then you're stuck.

Thanks for your replies mates I guess it would be best if I choose another place to buy styling parts, I noticed that Shop.alfisti.net sells same kind of items which I'm interested in, is that a better shop then? Or Cadamurodesign ?

Re: is Gazzella Racing a good place where to buy parts for Alfa?

currently in the process of trying to find out where it is. all i have heard is that it is on its way to the uk.... they said this 3 weeks ago. i shall try and get my money back and cancel the order soon and go elsewhere.

But like i said earlier. i ordered a straight through pipe from them and this arrived within a week so i guess sometimes they are good and sometimes they are not so good.

dont wanna put them down too much as it could be just a one off.

Alfisti.net are very good, fair delivery prices and quick delivery. I ordered a exhaust system on a bank holiday monday (afternoon) and it was on my door step first thing thursday morning. Very impressed with these people, would highly recomend. . . .

Re: is Gazzella Racing a good place where to buy parts for Alfa?

just to let you know anybody that is interested.

spoke to chris from gazella this morning. seems like a very nice bloke and my supersprint is on its way to my house. good times! he advised me that if you buy from him, a raggazon will be there in no time (3-4 days) but supersprint will be alot longer due to various factors.

oh well. im happy that its on its way and isnt lost lol.

From my whole complete personal experience of gazella.... they are a good place to buy stuff online but maybe not for supersprint products

hope this helps

Re: is Gazzella Racing a good place where to buy parts for Alfa?

well i bought the ragazzon straight through pipe and am just waiting for the supersprint backbox. at the moment it has the straight through pipe with the standard big ugly horrible back box on and it sounds exactly the same but slightly louder. supersprint backbox should be here by the weekend hopefully so will fit it then will come back to u and comment on the sound. with the standard back box though it only sounds a little louder, which i suppose it would

Re: is Gazzella Racing a good place where to buy parts for Alfa?

I ordered an exhaust for them once. A month after it still hadn't arrived, so I asked for a refund.

2 weeks later I didn't get one so I got the money back through my credit card.

I won't be dealing with them again.

Re: is Gazzella Racing a good place where to buy parts for Alfa?

Ordered some stuff on 20th March, still not arrived yet.

Chris was expecting delivery this week but not been in contact yet so I will send an email now.

I wasn't too fussed about quick delivery as I have been busy for the last few weeks but I now want the parts to get on with the job.

They were the cheapest but if I needed stuff quicker I would go elsewhere.

Re: is Gazzella Racing a good place where to buy parts for Alfa?

and I thought I was the only one !!!

I ordered 3 times from them.

1st time I ordered the c&b cams for my 16v 33. Paid almost 1400 Euro's at the time. I didnt know they didnt have them in stock. I knew they were supposed to order them and have them made and all that, but it took them 6 and half months to get me the cams !!!!
I was at the point where I thought I was cheated and I was just about to take the matter to the police.

2nd time I thought I would try again. I ordered 2 front konis. Those came surprisingly within 2 weeks.

3rd time I ordered was c&b cams again for the 1.7 8v 33. Again paid in advance.
8 months and several emails later I got a reply ( 2 weeks before they arrived) , asking me if they are the big bearing cams or the small ones
They probably pulled my leg all that time telling me that they were expecting them from week to week.
My guess is that they ordered them 2 weeks before I got them and they were messing with me the past 8 months

Talking to Chris wasnt much help, most of the time I only got the answering machine anyway.

I also used shop.alfisti.net. Very pleased with them, very proffesional and very quick. I shoped twice from them , h&r coilovers and some more konis Those guys I highly recommend

as for gazzella, if someone here is their friend, please tell them to be more proffesional in the future.

Sorry for the long post, I had a lot to say about this matter

To be fair I don't think it's Gazellas fault if the parts don't come a long. I know I waited 2 months for my back box. It was Ragazzons fault and I tried ordering a part from Supersprint but that was put on the long finger by them and then cancelled at the end of it.

I didnt care at all about the delay !!! what got to me was them saying that I will get them in August, then end of August, then no reply's, I sent emails and nobody replied !
Then I got a reply on November saying that I would get them on December.
December no surprises , again no replies to my emails, again nobody coming on the phone. Left loads of messages on the answering machine.
On January I got a happy new year wish
20th of February they asked me the size I wanted for the cams and then they sent the package on 5th of MARCH !!!

I paid on the 07th of August and I got them on the 5th of March
Plus I lost a lot of money due to the currency change !

It is their fault IMO.

They shouldn't be selling stuff that they can't get hold of or they haven't got in stock.

Plus they don't tell you that the delivery time will be so long when you order..
