Hmmm Q2 ???

Just had a Q2 and uprated clutch fitted to my GT by AHM.
Car has been transformed but my question is do I turn the ASR off or leave it on?

Re: Q2 ???

Hi Mate
dosnt really matter with ASR ON if you get any wheel slip it will deal with it in the same way
but you should get less slip now so ASR should be less active any way

Re: Q2 ???

If you are driving very enthusiastically, I would turn the ASR off - it wasn't calibrated exactly for Q2 being retro-fitted.
The ASR works fine with it for normal driving , but I found the ASR got a little more ragged when Q2 was added as a retrofit.

Thats no big deal since the car is quicker out of corners without ASR anyway, once you have a basic sense of thrrottle control.
The ASR would come into effect after Q2 anyway so does complement it to some extent, but I personally find that once the ASR is activated it takes much longer to bring the power back to optimal than with a sensitive right foot - and puddles or sharp bumps just cause it to cut power forever..

Cheers,
TB

I'm not a doctor - but I really do recommend braking later
