156 159 wheels

i know 159 wheels have a different pcd to 156 wheels and dident think it would be possible to get them to fit but after seeing this 156 on pistonheads Alfa Romeo : BAD BOY ALFA 156 RED LEATHER 2001 Y i was wondering is it possible to fit 159 wheels with wobble bolts? as this car looks to have 159 wheels

Re: 156 159 wheels

no, pcd 108 vs 98, 98-100 will wobble bolt.

the gt has ther same pcd as a 156, so 18's from a gt should be OK, but it may not drive any better than 17's.

Re: 156 159 wheels

Those alloys were available on the 147/GT in 17" maybe the add is wrong & they're 17" not 18"

Or maybe they are available from the alloy manufacturer in 18" in 156/147/GT fitments

Re: 156 159 wheels

Could use spacers that allow you to have a different pcd..

Re: 156 159 wheels

David P is right; those wheels were standard fitment on the first 147 Collezione models, in 17" size.

I would say it is almost certain that these are what have been fitted to the 156 in the link. They don't look like 18" to me.

I've just read the advert properly (just looked at the pictures of the wheels the first time) and it does say they are 18".

If that's true then my earlier post is irrelevant. And I've no idea how he got those 159 wheels to fit this 156.
