Did you use a heat gun or oven to split the lens away?

i did leave the bumper on, all you need to remove are the bolts that hold the bumper to the wing, to get at them just remove the screws in the arch lining and pull the arch lining out into the wheel arch, there is just enough room to get your arm behind the bumper, there are a few t30 bolts (i had 3 on the drivers side and 2 on the passenger side along with 1 clip) the bumper will then hang down at the sides allowing enough access to remove the lights, i used satin black spray, having seen the results i think gloss black would work ok

thanks the more i look at them the better they look, i am very pleased with them and would reccomend to anyone to update the look of the car

especialy older cars like mine (98) as the inside of the lenses had a thin misty coating (like the inside of a windscreen can get after not cleaning for a while) so when they are apart you can give them a good clean out, they looked 10 times better even before the paint

You have inspired me to bite the bullet too. I shall be off to get the paint today and will undertake this probably on Monday. I think you have done a great job and I would have easily believed you had some genuine GTA headlights. Looks good with the colour of your car too. Not sure about mine being white but I will not know if I dont try.

Re: my gta style headlights

That's my next project since I think it will look fantastic on a nero black car too... I'm a bit dubious about using my existing headlights though....

I might wait and get some Fleabay spares first, Gta them and then swap them over....

They do look cool though... good job guys
