Help Short question about Autodelta Intake

Just like always, Autodelta is not responding to my emails. So I decided to ask you. I want to order AD Intake for 156 GTA, and on their page is written that carbon intake comes also with sport air filter?
Does Autodelta air filter fits to standart air box? Or Autodelta also bring up new box, which is made for their filter?

Re: Short question about Autodelta Intake

It will be a foam element to fit the std airbox and a carbon-fibre tube to fit between the MAF sensor and the throttle-body.

Re: Short question about Autodelta Intake

Yes, it is a simple drop in replacement for the paper filter as David says. I fitted one when I fitted the AD intake. I took it out and put the paper one back in about three weeks later as I think the foam filter allowed water to get in and cause the MAF to blow in very wet weather.

Re: Short question about Autodelta Intake

Personally Ive never been a fan of foam filters, if I replace a oe element with a performance item I either go for cotton ie K&N, Green, BMC or Stainless Steel Mesh Quickshift Racing or Blitz.

Pipercross is about one of the only people still using foam these days.

I have heard that other than looking better the intake doesnt increase performance but I cant really comment as I havent got a GTA so its just hear-say.

If you have hang-ups with the foam item then Id go for a K&N cotton element. Thats just imo
