With a 2 valve/cylinder engine, especially one with large valves, the sparkplug needs to be offset to one side. That then leads to poor or incomplete combustion on the opposite side of the combustion chamber.
To solve that problem, a 2nd plug is fitted to the other side.
I know the bore size in the 75TS isn't overly big, but it is still something to think about.
With a 4 valve/cylinder engine, there is always space in the centre for the sparkplug, so the problem doesn't exist.
