Oil Breather Catch Tank

has anyone fitted an oil catch tank to their car, and if so, where in the engine bay did you put it?

Re: Oil Breather Catch Tank

I assume you mean for the Selespeed reservoir? Just a suitable diameter and length of tubing from Hals' with a smallish plastic bottle neatly secured with tie wraps located in a convenient area?:

Re: Oil Breather Catch Tank

sorry, no.

i should have pointed it out, my fault. i meant for the standard engine breather. i intend to use silicone hosing for my intake pipes, and wanted to use a catch tank for the engine breather instead of just sticking a mini-k&n on the side of the engine.

wanted to know whether someone had put one, if they had one, as there aint much room in that there engine bay.

Re: Oil Breather Catch Tank

Oh! I see, you mean a vapour trap from the crankcase exhaust? Dunno' really as ours was a standard controlled and vented disposal of the same?

Re: Oil Breather Catch Tank

I have one on mine (145 TS) and its mounted next to the battery (side not front) and i put a T piece in the breather line to the throttle body and it vents through there
