brera 3.2 re-map

I'm thinking of getting if possible my bella re-mapped. has anyone done this to theirs??

autodelta are the only tuning agents that I have heard of. Are there any other ones out there perhaps closer to home?

Would like to hear any feedback if it improved performance fuel consumption etc.

Cheers

I've been toying with the idea of getting mine done too. If you do find out any figures etc I'd be interested in hearing about them.

Re: brera 3.2 re-map

Red Dot have done the 3.2 and they are at the northern tip of London so ever so slightly better for Scotland!

The 3.2 is not supposed to be as hard to map as the 2.2, which has a really tricky ECU to access.

The 2.2 has an MED 7.6.1 ecu whilst the 3.2 has an MED 7.6.2, but they are both of the same processor family -ST10F27..-and in terms of actually mapping them about the same work.
We do both as well as every other Alfa.

After reading a recent post regarding the Mango's mod 4 upgrade, was wondering wether anyone has actually completed the Autodelta 3.2 re-map.

Apparently the Autodelta upgrade is more expensive/comprehensive?

Anyone here completed the 3.2 Autodelta re-map or the Mango's one for the 3.2?

Thinking there would be improvements to low down acceleration/exhaust note/overall power???

I have - prior to deciding to go the whole 9 yards and fit the compressor kit.

In a nutshell: OK overall, but don't expect miracles. Claimed hp increase is 14hp which sounds about right - in line with subjective feel (or the lack of it for that matter). Responsiveness is positively affected but not drastically so. Consumptions remains the same.

I have the remap on my 3.2 S and as gus1971 says above, it is good but not a remarkable difference, I found it gives better responsiveness when pressing on.
I had mine done with only 1,000 miles on the clock, so have just got familiar with the map as the engine bedded in.

The Mangoletsi mod is not just a change to the map but also a physical modification to the induction. Much bigger effect than just a remap. Their stock 2.2 went from claimed 185 bhp (which is probably 175 or less in the real world) to 197.8 bhp, so +23bhp or more.

I would imagine the 3.2 would gain more than that.

AO price £399 + VAT which is the same (or less than?) the AD remap.

If you ask me, you get more bang for the buck if you do something with the exhaust and/or the cat. Of course you can develop an itch and go for the compressor kit, but that's an entirely different story (which I have covered extenisvely in the past)
