Cybox exhaust.

Anybody got one of these. They seem very well priced. Are they really noisy.? Im thinking of getting a new back box to get a better exhaust note. But i dont want it noisy or bassy. Just a little growl is just fine. And i dont want to splash out on one of these and be disappointed. And i cant really afford ragazon etc.

Try putting Cybox in the search box it should give you some pointers mate, i thought about these too but have decided to go for a full stainless system not Ragga but something in between and bespoke

Re: Cybox exhaust.

Had a Cybox on the 156 V6 and it sounded really nice, not too loud. It'll be too loud with a decat though. Good quality also.

Re: Cybox exhaust.

Hey beardo. How load is not too load.? Can you live with it say on the motorway. I had a cheap backbox on a bmw i once owned. And it was so boomy inside the car at 70 it made me want to commit suicide after 50 miles.

Re: Cybox exhaust.

I have one, brought it about 8 weeks ago and must say the quality is excellent, i had to mess around with the downpipe connection (thanks sears) as it didnt fit, we had to weld a OLIVE on to the front flexy pipe, but this isnt a problem on the TS only on the JTS.

As for the sound i think its perfect its makes a nice sound a 4500rpm to the redline but is nice and quite whilst under partial throttle and steady speeds.

When you think these work out alot cheaper than one from alfa and will last twice aslong its a no brainer get one you wont regret it.

i have the square/oval end on mine and it fits nice under the back bumper.

Sears has the small end on his and has clamped on a oval end from a standard back box looks puka

Re: Cybox exhaust.

iv got one on my 147 2.0 TS selespeed, its not too loud on the motorway or anywhere. just sounds nice. you would be better spending more money and getting the cat back system. then you will never have to replace any of the exhaust again. i still have the cat fitted. i think that it might be too loud for de cat, as stated by beardo.

i had one on my fiat coupe 16VT also with a de cat , too loud so had to put the cat back on.

also a choice of tail pipe on the cybox is very good.

Your car sounds great Chris.

A 4 pot twinny will never sound as good as that, no matter what exhaust is on it, but should still sound good.

I want an Arese V6..
