Brera S Brake Calipers ??

Does anyone know who makes the front calipers on the 2.2 Brera S, are they the same ones as on the std 24. and 3.2 or are they Prodrives own ? EBC want me to try some of the Yellow-R pads but I don't have time to get the old pads out and mic them up before hand. ??

Re: Brera S Brake Calipers ??

Yes they are. Just like the 159Ti's, all have 330mm Brembo set up. Only the rear set up differs, with the 2.4 & 3.2 cars getting vented rear disks.

I thought the 2.2 and 3.2 had different size front discs?

I'm looking to get some new pads but I'm not sure if they're the same size as the standard pads. Please advise.

Standard 2.2's have smaller disks and standard calipers but the Ti's & LE's get the BIG Brembo set up

Ditto for the 2.2 Brera S.

The rear disks differ though.

I've had a few scary braking moments in my S recently, mainly under heavy breaking suffering with break fade. Would these pads make that much of a difference:

Ferodo 2500 front pads for 2.4 and 3.2 car for Alfa Romeo 159 parts and spares

Saying that I did notice the front pads fitted to my car seem to have Lucas as well as Ferodo written on them. So if the are Ferodo, what type of model of pad are they?

Fit performance friction pads. They transform braking power & pedal feel

Autolusso fitted mine & will be doing the same to my new Brera on Thursday

Just had the PF's off my old Ti fitted to the new Brera at Autolusso.

The difference is truly staggering

Worth every single penny of anyone's money

Didn't get round to ordering them last week, must do it this week. Who are they made by?

What about discs, would changing these make much of a difference?

Standard Brembo disks are just fine. If they are not warped or worn leave them
