Chrome Bumper Mesh

Hi

I've just put the chrome bars over the grille and changed the badge which ive gotta say looks super.

However i wanna upgrade the black plastic mesh that connects the bumper to the fog lights in chrome mesh. I've seen soem on ebay but they want £40 for it which sounds excessive to me. any ideas where i could get some from?

Mine is a pre facelift 156 by the way.

i bought them and had them on for around 6-9 months. All i done was attached them with cable ties. Looks ok but after a while i decided they were a bit chavesque so whipped them off. I bought the silver strips also but never put them on and think i have lost them now

Re: Chrome Bumper Mesh

All that German company on eBay is doing is cutting a sheet of mesh to the size of the Alfa grille's and then selling them for that price.

Buy some mesh yourself (may also find some different stuff more to your taste) and cut around your originals.

Re: Chrome Bumper Mesh

tbanks for that buddy. i think it probably stands out a bit more on your black paint work, minds grey so will blend in a bit more i think, cos the main badge drille looks great with chrome strips now.

Re: Chrome Bumper Mesh

I bought some stainless steel mesh to fill in the lower bumper slots of my 155 (to save the rad' from being shot-blasted to buggery) off the fleabay. A piece about 6" x 36" was about £25 I think.

I had to have the bumper off to fit it... and I had to mould the mesh to the shape and then cut off the excess but it works well. New rad' still has no stone marks in it (mesh has major hits showing).
