According to Car online theyre for NASA to use on their moon exploration vehicles, not for road cars...

I ve Said Twice Now That They Were Developed For Nasa To Use On A New Moon Vehicle Thats Why. Theyre Not For Road Use!!

......That's it then, before we know it we'll all have to have the damn things on our cars.............

They developed microvave ovens, those memory foam mattresses, pens you can write upside down with (they spent millions on that one.......... while the soviets just used pencils)........... freeze dried foods and polaroid sunglasses.........

.......... Before you know it we'll be expected to have them on our rides........

........... NASA , sneaky f*ckers !!! ............ and if the French are involved it'll be worse !!!!

those pic's have been floating around for years. i heard they were used once years ago for some prototype car and there were no real advantages when price was included.

Thats actually a myth. Standard pens work fine is space, and you can't use pencils in spacecraft in case the tip breaks off.

That was his point-that they neednt have bothered developin them cos normal pens work ok
