Brembo Caliper conversion on 2.0 GT

Does anyone know where I can get Radial Mounted Brembo Calipers with mounting brackets off a gta, or just the mounting brackets so they will fit onto a 2.0 GT. Thanks Ian

Calipers from ebay, but you need to make sure they are radial mounted.

Brackets I believe user SEARs may be able to assist..

Re: Brembo Caliper conversion on 2.0 GT

for calipers look on ebay for Brembo Gran Turismo [ rare ] or Ferrari F360 [ also rare ]

you could try to obtain FRONT calipers from a Porsche 966

the main questions to ask the seller are:

1. piston size [ 34mm x 2 & 38mm x 2 are required ]

2. mounting holes distance apart [ 130mm ]

3. offset [ from centre of caliper to centre of mounting holes, typically 53mm or 50mm ]

4. max disc width/diameter [ gta use 28mm wide & 305mm diameter ]

5. external or internal balance pipes, external is best, means you can use calipers from German cars that fit their calipers at the rear of the hub where Alfa fit them at the front, so you set up the correct piston arrangement of smaller piston 1st ]

I cna supply you iwht a drawing for £20 to suit:

* 305mm x 28mm discs

* caliper offset of 53mm

* 130mm mounting holes
