2.2 JTS induction

Hello,

Has anyone developed an induction kit for the 2.2JTS? Mine is a Brera. I know the 2.0JTS has been done but the 2.2 is much newer... not sure that anyone has made one yet.

How much of a difference does the AD replacement panel filter make?

Can't see a replacement panel filter making all that much difference tbh. They'll probably quote 5bhp or so though.

Will meet you after weekend. Will be in touch. Just can't do a lot before as I am lagging behind with work.

@ Pud237 - The stock intake is so bad that 5bhp is on the generous side.

But thats down to the intake system, not just what the filter is made of. I really can't see a replacement panel filter making much difference on any car fitted with a modern OEM air filter. I agree that changing the whole intake system for something bespoke and designed for power can extract some fantastic gains.

Do you mean the sport air filter? I don't think AD do a replacement panel filter or induction for the 2.2, I have been looking for a while...

AD Sport air filter has a nicer throttle response, but an air filter alone cannot fix the shoddy intake... that will require a new silicone hose at least, I think.

Yes I think Peter meant that he could get at least 5bhp by replacing the intake piping, rather than just the filter.

Stop me if I'm wrong!

Have to say the that until then, I'm loving the torque from my torque exhaust and red dot remap! Adding a decent intake to my system should really pull!!
