Not an Alfa :-(

What are the benefits of Powerflex kit, it looks like the best part of £300 for a front and rear bushes kit, is there much of a gain or is it more longivity of parts?

Re: Powerflex?

They look like they last longer but when I asked the blokes at the garage they told me not to bother if I'm in the car every day, I'd get fed up of the choppy, harsh ride because more force is transferred up into the car ... so I left them alone.

Re: Powerflex?

Hello alfant,i put the full kit on my gta, would advise the rear but dont bother on the front, they are a nightmare to fit and they dont last long, they come apart, you will be better putting new arms with normal bushes in,autodelta are doing this now

Re: Powerflex?

I would advise upgrading the Front ARB bushes though

Re: Powerflex?

Its probably worth doing if your bushes are shot at the moment,

Alfa bushes dont last long at all which was another reason i got it done.

I doubt that they would give a harsh ride with standard alfa springs and dampers, would make the ride a bit firmer maybe.
