Sounds like you've got the main things to do. Speak to Red Dot about remapping/chipping, they are good. That Twin Spark should be fantastic when you're finished with it!

Re: 2.0 ts upgrades?

The next stage is a set of cams, a decat and a custom remap.

I too would avoid superchips and get it down to red dot. For around £200 you get a remap and a rolling road run afterwards.

He doesn't know me, but there are plenty of people on here who have used him with good results.

I've just finshed modding mine (for now at least) this is what I did:

First Powerflow exhaust (they are similar to Longlife): sportscat 200 cell, tailpipe and removed one of the silencers. Result is I lost a little bit of torque at low revs but improved at mid/high revs. Noise as before realy.

Then called Nigel at Angel Tuning for remap + CDA.
He's mobile so he will come to you and still do a very good job.
Result got a lot more torque back and improved further mid/high revs.

All in all the car is a lot better now and you can definitely feel the difference. The noise the CDA makes at full throttle is excellent.

I was tempted by Red Dot but they just moved from Watford where I live to Enfield so decided to go with Angel.
If you take it to Red Dot ask Augusto to look at your airbox system and see if he has any simple ideas to improve it further. I remember when I spoke to him some time ago that was a solution he used.

What parts of the exhaust are you changing? If just the taipipe then you wont gain anything. Add the sportscat 200 cell.

Let us know what you do at the end and how it goes.

Re: 2.0 ts upgrades?

The AutoDelta filter and replaced resinator pipe is a good start, CDA too expensive and IMO no more gain than what you have done already. As for the exhaust, you wont gain much at all by replacing the cat back parts. I would spend the money on a properly made and tested exhaust and replace the whole lot if you want to do it right. Speak to these guys re exhaust Classic Alfa Romeo cars Then get it on a rolling road. If you then at a later date change the cams, this will usually be done with a map to suite.
Modding cars is an expensive hobby, and can cost lots more if you dont do your homework

Re: 2.0 ts upgrades?

I would look to get some Fast road cams from Piper i looked at a set for my JTS and i think they where around £200. Fast Road are your best option because they work best with an engine that is not completelly modified otherwise Race Cams would blow your engine apart.

Re: 2.0 ts upgrades?

yeh the longlife exhaust that i am goin to have fitted is a custom fitted cat back system where they even build the boxes and i will have one removed the third box in the system as i would say it is the most restrictive.
i am looking at a sports cat after the cat back system has been made but money dont grow on trees sadly.

Then you might want to save up a bit more and get cat back and sports cat done at the same time so you can negotiate the price. If you do them both then they will give you a discount. You might have to negotiate with them a bit. How much was the quote for the cat back?

Ok mine was 400 including sportscat, fitted + vat.
I'm not sure which is best Longlife or Powerflow. From the reviews I read they are probably the same. Get a quote from them and then compare. You can always call Longlife back and see if they'll match the price.
If you want to gain some power then the cat will make a bit of difference and will work better with the remap. Don't go for the 100 cell one as that will surely make you fail the MOT (unless the MOTer is your friend). Also be careful with the noise level you want from the full exhaust. I think you can choose this also with longlife.

Good luck
