OMP srut brace

Mrs 145 was nice to me this Christmas and got me one

Fitted it this aft and all went pritty smooth

My question is how should I Adjust it at the moment it's just as it came do I need to tighten/loosen it and what effect will this have

I think you are supposed to adjust it just until you feel resistance. Otherwise you might upset the geometry of the suspension if you adjust it too tight.

Obviously make sure the car is on the level when you do it.

I am sure someone else will be able to confirm this.

This is the first time I've ever put any mods on a car and have to admit it dose handle better

Who knows I may have the bug No chavy body-kits though

I put a strut brace on my 147 and straight away I felt it felt 'tighter'.

For 50 quid I'd recommend one to any/everyone.

when i fitted all 3 strut braces to my 156 lifted all front & rear wheels off the ground when fitting at either end.

the top front i adjuuted the nut as much as possible & then lowered the wheels...... 'train on trails' is my description of my cars handling now

Sorry It defo feel a lot tighter and corners a lot smother so surely it must improve thing to be honest I waiting to see what happen when it's dry

I think Gosty has one on his GTA don't know the make but a silver alloy one if I remember rightly

Yep he has a Weicher strut brace, I just seem to always be spending me mulla on the GTA! I want one but carnt justify spending the money to myself rather than saving it!
