GT suspension & brake upgrades

I've seen a few threads regarding upgrading the GT suspension. I have a 06 JTDm and want to get this sorted.

Eibach Pro springs and either Bilstein or Koni FSD seem the way to go. Probably biased myself to the Bilsteins as I put some on my old Manta GTE a few years ago and it was totally transformed, superb.

Any ideas out there? Also where would be the best place to get them from and is it worth replacing bushes as the same time?

Also the brakes don't always fill me with confidence, I see the odd 147 GTa brembos up for sale, will these fit straight on with same discs or do I need to upgrade these as well. Or is it just worth fitting better discs and pads?
Any help appreciated, cheers.

Re: GT suspension & brake upgrades

i'm very happy with the Eibach/KONI Sport combo i have. Bilsteins should be as good too. only thing better would be coilovers like KWv2, but expensive.

if you upgrade your front brakes calipers, you'll probably need to change your wheels too, cos the standard JTD wheels (depending on what exact model they are) won't have enough clearance behind the spokes. the overall expense will probably turn you off.

i think a brake pad upgrade should improve things significantly.
