They will fit, but the spring rate will be wrong because of the extra weight of the V6 engine.

So don't use them.

Hi there. I'm guessing the 2.4 jtd is significantly heavier than v6 even, but how big a problem would this create? I'm guessing you'll have a very soft front end, which would sit lower than the rear?

you'd need a ready supply of sumps on the 2.4... don't think you'd make it till the end of the month....

The 2.5 V6 is 70kg heavier than the 2.0TS the 2.4jdt is 30kg heavier than the 2.5 V6.

Lowering springs tend to have a bit higher spring rate than normal (5.5kg/mm) - it should be in the region of 7kg/mm or so Thus if you put the 2.0TS springs in a 2.5 it will be a further 1cm lower on the front shocks picking up the tail and dropping the nose. If you put V6 springs in a 2.4jdt it will be 5mm lower than spec'ed.

Don't forget that the 2.4 sump is lower than all others to begin with...
