Re: These should be popular

You can get them in 18", they come on the 147 Ducati Corse, in anthracite

If they were 17" x 7.5" I might be interested, but not 17" by 7". Wonder what the offset is? The 18" Ducati corse ones are 7" as well. Nevermind

I wonder if they would actually suit an older Alfa? Anyone wanna do a photoshop?

Why do you want to go wider? 7" will fit all the way up to 245 section, but really is there any point in fitting wider than 225 as it will only slow you down?

My GTA wheels are 17" x 7.5" and the ideal width for tyres for those is 225. For 7" wide wheels you should be fitting 215, 225 would be pushing it and no way would 245 fit..

I find 225/45/17 a good tyre size, lots of choice and they aren't too dear either.

Re: These should be popular

Very nice but since they are 7x17" I doubt they will fit over any of the big Brembo brakes without fitting large spacers - would like to see how they look IRL

I wish someone would make a good set of 17" GTV Teledial copies

Sorry, in that case I must have got my figures wrong. I have 17" teledials and I thought they were 17x7.0 and I have fitted anything up to 245 on them, but from what you are saying my wheels must be 17x7.5.

I think the GTV 17 inch Teles are 7.5" and take 225s as standard. I'm still suprised 245s fit, although I have heard of people fitting 235s on the GTA wheels.

Re: These should be popular

I had a pair of 245/40 on my Teledials, but it added nothing to grip (wider contact area but less contact pressure), increased tramlining and most probably reduced acceleration and increased fuel consumption. I changed back to 225 section with the next set (6,000 miles later).

Re: These should be popular

They should be 18" really I think and as said above they would have to be to fit over my brake calipers
