New turbo for 156 2,4 JTD 10V

Hello,

I found this forum via Google.
I live in Austria, and own a 156JTD,GTV V6 Turbo and a 33 TS.

The JTD is a 136HP 10V, its my daily driver.
It is chipped (170HP) but now the Turbo is blown.
I am searching for a new one.
And now my question are there better aftermarket chargers aviable?
I want to recive about 200 HP with the car, I also read in some posts about Angel tuning maps wich are rated at my goal 200HP.

thanx for answer.

If its the 136bhp version then you have the VNT25 turbo, the later 140/150's had the GT2256 which is a bigger turbo.

I don't know of an easy upgrade from the VNT25, if its the GT2256 then its good for over 200bhp anyway.

As far as claims for 200bhp from the old 136 go, I wouldn't pay too much attention to them unless there is a rolling road before and after, and even then just look at the differences.
Pud had a 136 with a 200bhp map, but I seem to remember him saying it was a little short on the claimed power? - you would need to ask him.

Don't know if you could fit the GT2256 turbo and manifold from the 140? People have spoken about it but I know of no-one who has tried it...

The 136 turbo vnt25 the boost is controled by the pressure directly from the turbo cold part.

The 140 150 the boost is controlled by vacuum from a slelenoid. If you put a turbo from 140/150 ps JTD you have to make modification af the actuator. (to change - you will lost the waranty)

Squadra has a remap of 200 bhp/ 420 Nm for the 136, but this includes some hardware aswell...
