Sealing headlights!

Going to GTA some headlights for my GTA (had lights replaced but with only normal 147 ones) and have been told to use bathroom sealent or silicone (apparently better) Not got a clue myself but would have though silicone would be better but after some opinions, views and recommendations please. Thanks

Re: Sealing headlights!

You need to use a sealant which is suitable for external use.

I used Bostik 100HMA (black) from RS Components. p/n 341-0955

Details here
