Upgraded Sele' Paddles.

im modifying the sele paddles on my 156, i have buttons at the moment, but the + one is knackered, and i wanted to change to the paddle wheel in the 2002-on car.

expensive though, wheel came minus airbag without me knowing it wouldnt be included. 100 minus bag. damn.

i have seen the paddles, and they are tiny. ive decided to try and upgrade them by either fibreglass moulding a new paddle/paddle attachment, or just screwing on a set of BMW-esque ones, as shown in the piccy.

what do you guys think?

Re: Upgraded Sele' Paddles.

the paddles on my 147 seem just the right size and are in exactly the right place where my fingers rest,i think those bmw are awful ,frankly...

i cant tell what the price is for those, they do look even more ungainly than the bmw ones too....

im also trying to mould a set from fibreglass, a bit more suited to the alfa, but i need a spare set of paddles so it doesnt matter if i knacker them getting the shape right.

anyone got a faulty set they have replaced? have posted in "wanted" too.

Hi i have an old set that i bought for a couple of off ebay to try to do exactly what your attempting, just never got round to it, i have the same paddles on my Qtronic Brera so let me know your address & i'll happily send them to you FOC, if you acheive a good result and the price is right i'll be your first customer !!

no, the airbag for the button sele wheel is different to the paddle one, as the paddle one has audio controls.

im going to blank those off as i cant use them with my stereo anyway.

Re: Upgraded Sele' Paddles.

i need to replace the radio buttons/sterring wheel controls on my 147gta steering wheel, the black is coming off them and you can see the red backlighting coming through the holes,

are these available as separate spare parts ?
