Hi guys, id like to know what injectors i can fit to a 16v cf1 twinspark that the ECU would be happy to work with. Do v6 ones fit? The engine will getting turboed soon hence the injectors
All port injected Alfas use high impedance (12 ohm) Bosch style injectors. The older TS motors with the metal fuel rail use the slightly fatter EV1 and plastic fuel rail TS motors use the more slender EV6. The V6s also use EV6. The EV6 is about a mm shorter, so you will have to shave a bit of the feet of the rail to clamp it down again, otherwise interchangeable.
When it comes to the ECU handling the bigger injectors, is outside the scope of the ECU on itself, but nothing has stopped us before... Hahaha... If you get a wideband lambda based AFR like Innovate, so you can get a better feel of what is going on. I have a unit that can mimic a narrow band lambda that you can modify and send to the stock ECU, in essence your own piggy back signal modification.
Plans have been a bit all over the place, i still want to try turboing it but for time being its going to stay NA
