Punto 1.9jtd Sporting 188 B2.000 edc16

Hi all , i am Mihail Yordanov from Bulgaria

Budget project started ,

Stock parts / upgrade parts are:

Small ihi - will be td04-14t from IVECO hopefully not too lagy

Fuel pump 4C 0445 010 071 - will be bmw 3.0 184hp ,as i know it will fit almost directly and it has good rate of flow

Injectors 0445 110 112 , will be 119 (as i dont really know what is mine 112 upper limit )

Rail press sensor stock 0281 002 706 , 1800bar which is good enough i think

Map sensor stock 0281 002 845 , 3bar which also will be good enough as i plan to go 1.8bar max boost press

FMIC inlet 63 outlet 63

Inlet manifold upgrade to 63mm inlet

Stock clutch is 240mm as the gearbox of the sporting editions is Getrag, dual mass flywheel will be replaced by 2.0 20v solid one and most probably ceramic clutch

Exhaust 63mm

Already mentioned edc 16 which will be later mapped again

Full rebuild of the engine is already started by me.

The goal is 200+ on wheels

Any ideas and further info will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Nice project, but i dont understand the part selection.

With EDC16 i would use the R70 pump from the 16V Multijet engines or stock pump from 8V 120hp Multijet (nearly the same as the 16V).

Also i would use the 276s injectors. The 112 are 1st CR Gen injectors and made for 1500 bar. 1800 bar is too much for this injectors.

Are you sure with the 240mm of the clutch? I think it has 235mm.

And the diameter from the in and outlet of the FMIC is your smallest problem... with this turbo...

Thanks for your opinion ,

Which p/n is this R70 pump?

What are the nozzels of mine 112 injectors , i can't find that info and what will be max hp from them lets say on 1600bar?

Yes the clutch is almost 240mm 😁

Best regards

Turbo swap will be pain in the .ss ,
1st it is wastegated which is not good ,
2nd there is very small place in the punto engine bay

And as i already said it is a budget project and i have that td04-14t in perfect condition so this will be the turbo for now.

Any suggestions , come on JTD guys , give em to me.

Best regards

112s has a DSLA144P1271
119s has a DSLA144P1295
276s has a DLLA142P1607

144/142 is the spray angle.

R70 has the number 55209062.

Ok 276 are with 142degr. nozzels , but my head is 8V are they suitable for me (pistons)?

Also i ordered a R70 pump from Opel zafira 120hp 0445 010 155 , it looks like it will fit but belt wheel is smaller .
Is there the option to change the timing belt with smaller one or i have to swap the wheels?
