Warning

Hello to everyone, i want to ask all members who can help me if this will be a good but small thigs just to make my alfa better because it very good now but every diamant need polish so wait for your opinions.

I want to do something with my Alfa romeo 156 1.8TS 106kw CF2 because it not that fast like i want to be and i don`t want to change for jtd or 2.0ts soo if i can do something i want to do on this engine, soo lets start

1.Remap(+rev limiter to 7750-7800)
2.Supersprint Free flow rear exhaust(thats mounted today)
3.Lightweight crankshaft pulley(of course if i find) because it add about 5-8hp and make car a bit more funny to drive and reach higher rpm faster due to oem is about 1.380g and lightweight not more than 500g.
4.De cat(remove the catalyst, because its not that loud i want to be, and want to engine breath freely after 5000rpm)
5.New intake box(bmc, kd1r, etc)
6.Filled with Liqui Molly 10w-60+ceratec

What i want:Better throtle respone below 3500rpm, and good push to the 7800.about fuel consumption i will expect worse when drive hard, but almost normal in normal driveing conditions so in short i want to make engine faster and better sounding.
(image of my dirty alfa because rains everywhere can`t keep it clean)if atttached succesfully.
Expecting about 15-25 hp with all these modifications.

Yep, you got most of the things right.

Just be sure that you are starting with a good engine, with correct timing and new lambda, MAF and spark plugs(preferably iridium).
That's a good beginning.

And then you can start with the modifications:
1. remove the cat and place a resonator on his place. Example
2. don't go for stupid aftermarket intake boxes. The factory intake is perfect, just search for "v6 intake mod" and do it. Cheap and simple.
3. lightened pulley
4. sport cams (they are really expensive, 800euro+)
5. and finally remap.

This way, if you don't do (4.) you'll get arround 15-20 horses.
If you want more, you'll get sport cams, polish the head, and go for a custom exhaust manifold and lightened flywheel. This way you might get up to 180hp...
And if you want even more, the next step is individual throttle bodies.

Thank you for reply......my friend who has the same car today get ecu from 2.0 114kw twin spark and and fit on 1.8 twin spark and he says that after driveing for first time before some hrs he says that car now is more like 2.0 twin spark soo i need to drive his alfa this weekend to see the real difference and maybe in this all mods i type in the beginning will find ecu with immo from 2.0 and mount on my TS and then will remap the 2.0 ecu so i think it will be good power, soo i will check maf and lamba .spark plugs, etc and then will start with this lets say ''small project''....sport cams no way too expensive, for resonator i will drive without resonator for couple of kms and if its too loud i will fit resonator...and drive alfa before buy new one like 159 tbi.

The ECUs are the same, only the maps in them are different.
Just do a remap on yours.

LPG tech is good, you just need a experienced guy to set up the system and fast injectors.
