Need to lower fuel pressure help

Hi all

I thought i needed to raise my fuel pressure but i need to lower it.

Car is 156 v6 and a returnless fuel system .

I need to get 3bar from 4bar , is there a simple cheapish way of doing it .
is it possible to to replace the pressure regulator that's in the top of the fuel pump housing (white thing)

On a good note the new fuel pump i fitted is very good

I'd rather try changing the mapping and reducing the injection times by +- 12%

didn't think it could be adjusted that much.

I guess it starts with how much bhp i end up with, But my injectors are 420cc/min @4bar at a guess i should aim for about 300-350 cc/min and the injectors are 320 cc/min @ 3bar so with fuel mapping i would have to lose 100cc/min if thats the way it works

But saying all that i have just put the injector details in the flow calc and its comes up that they will be 360 cc/min @ 4bar ( the 420cc came from injector specs on a web site)

but if that works thank you that would be easier

thanks for the reply fella

All spares parts for 156 and 147 being sold that i will not be using (cheap) nothing too small ask what you want , willing to post world wide Phone 07922123242 Ask for Neil and say Mark said to phone .

Alfa 156 Gta

I would always fit an adjustable fuel pressure regulator but a decent uk made one

cant remember where the return is but usually plumbing in there to set the pressure

been trying to find a supplier of blank fuel rails so i can make a batch myself at a decent price..
