Gtb turbo

Im hopefully moving on soon from my gt1756 hybrid setup on my astra 1.9 16v 150 and looking to go gtb2056 after reading loads n loads of threads with people using the 2.4 gt2056.

Ive been looking at the volvo gtb2056v there isnt much of a mention for these turbos but seem readily available is there a reason why they are not favoured....

I know there will be a vacuum conversion to do as they are electric actuator.

Im looking at making a log manifold and using the volvo turbo.

Comments and input welcome and listened too.

Thanks bob

They need vacuum conversion and also you have to supply additional water lines for the cooling, because that is water cooled turbo.

For that fact most people prefer turbo from Alfa...

Other than that, they are almost identical.

Thanks

Ive seen the alfa turbo they are already vacuum actuator so no conversion needed i know ive not alot of space to deal with and the volvo turbo is nice and compact where as the alfa turbo looks like its going to be a pig to fit (unless you know otherwise)
To a log manifold.
