Giulietta - Cheap Coilovers choice (AP vs Novitec)
I'm currently looking to replace my current suspension setup and I would like to hear some feedback.
My G is a 1.6 JTD, big turbo, FMIC, running at around 190bhp 400Nm.
Suspension wise I already had:
1 - full stock
2 - H&R Sport springs + stock dampers
3 (currently) - Eibach prokit + Bilstein B6
Thing is, after running with the spectacular H&Rs (stiff and low, super direct steering input), I find the eibachs too soft, they bottom out a lot, and they sit the car very high. Car feels very soft around the corners, and isn't so flat as it was with the H&Rs. And the B6s don't seem to be enough to sustain the imense travel the Eibachs have, rendering the ride, too comfy for my taste.
So Im currently looking to replace it all. This time I was thinking about a Coilover setup, however I don't want to spend too much, so I will avoid KW and stick to the low end only.
I'm thinking about AP Coilovers (the blue ones) or Novitec ones, only height adjustable.
Does anyone have any feedback on any of theses?
I already rode a G with the novitec ones and I still found it a tad soft, and also rode a Bravo with the AP ones, which I found to be just the way I like, stiff and sharp response. However, each application is different, and so I would like to hear some feedback of someone who had the AP on the G.
Thanks in advance, guys.
