Alfa Romeo GT 1,9 GTD2060VZ

Hi Guys,

We almost finished project GTD2060VZ. It was very hard to fit it but we have done it.

Here It is list of modifications which I have done for this moment.

Porting Head by Profi Turbo
Custom intake mainfold by Eugenio Ferrero
Turbo from Audi Q7 2016 gtd2060VZ
BMC cone air filter
DP 3"
Free flow exhaust 2,75"
6 pot Porsche Cayenne Brembo Callipers
Custom Rail pump by Sprintautoservice
Custom fuel system (injectors 70%+) by JRace

We expect about 300-340HP and 550-600nm
The car haven t final dyno test because of slipping clutch

We already waiting for custom set with push clutch system, because nothing work properly till this moment.
If you have any suggestions ???

sounds like a fantastic project...

my GT is pushing around 250 BHP and 600 nm, Damien's nas been dyno'd at 275 bhp and over 600nm..I think tejay is at 261 BHP nd around 600nm, we all have the GTA clutch and SMF flywheel, I think its probably good for 300 but 340! blimey you are asking questions of not just the clutch and fly but the driveshafts, injectors, fuel pump, the lot.

something will very likely go pop at that power.

if I were you I would limit the poer to 300, as I don't honestly think there is a clutch readily available that will take anymore, it will be an expensive process of trying options until you find one that works..

I do wish you the very best of luck and eagerly await your dyno results!

best

joe

Oh, it looks nice! But the egt-probe looks like 5mm one. I did some tests with a 5mm probe and that was frightening. The 5mm probe was 5 times slower then the 3mm probe.

With my display, you can create display-blocks with values like EGT and AIT or EGT and Boost or Boost and AIT and so on. You can switch this blocks by a button or by automatic. In automatic-mode you can set the switchover time. Also you can create log-files (but i didn't try it). And you can control a WMI injection with the boost value. It has really nice features.

Please publish dyno charts or it doesn't exist I see HPs get smaller and smaller as you go eastwards in Europe, sometimes people complain they get small as ponies in Bulgaria thus being more per kilowatt

Very impressive power figure!

But, to be honest, the torque curve looks awful. Very slow spooling, I'd expect much more from a GTD2060 !
Are the VGT maps properly modified in the mapping?

Clutch is slipping very much...we have done the test on 5th gear. The power will go up when we order new clutch.

Ok I see, that explains it. Can't wait to see the true potential, and some photos of the build!

Hi, how well is your "injectors 70%+", How did you manage to run it without IMA code. and how about smoke, engine vibration etc. Can you give us more info?
