So why does speedtest (which I usually use) faff about and take so long?

BUT - I'm streaming android box in kitchen and on here on laptop, missus has been downloading box sets for the last hour or so, son watching a movie on his android box upstairs and daughter on iPad and iPhone at same time. No buffering and all in HD, good enough for me!

Great thread - really quick!

That's via wi-fi at home - I could check the wired speed but I can't be bothered to plug it in.

I just checked via my phone and it is 54 Mbps!

Out of curiosity I will check work on Monday, as the laptop is wired there.

Not too bad, I can watch BBC iplayer stuff no problem and stream video from YouTube on either device.
