Cctv

Hi All
i'm looking to get a cctv camera of some kind,it'll be looking out an upstairs window, preferably battery operated, recordable to a memory card over writing after a day or so and able to see reasonably well at night.Thought about a dash cam but powering it is a problem.Don't want to spend alot on it if possible.
Any suggestions
Cheers

What's your budget?

Something like this?

Sorry for the late reply guys, been away for the weekend.
Looking for something cheap as possible, problem is i'm a witness in court to a ned on a motorbike flying around a grassy area outside my home,it's an ongoing problem. He's bound to know where i stay so expect damage after i appear in court,he might plead guilty but maybe not so wanted a cheap easy to use camera to monitor daily just in case.
I've seen some on amazon, ebay etc but although they fit the bill on paper they might not be very good like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Coomatec-D...item5403dba349.

Another option is to use an old android phone and install a cam app.

I used this as a puppy cam for quite a few months when it
first came out:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...udcamera&hl=en

I think it went subscription based though.

It might seem obvious, but it surprises me how many of my clients have installed cameras that are of such poor quality that you can't make out faces or registration numbers on vehicles.

To me, this seems pointless. Buy the camera with the best quality picture that you can afford.
